UV Mapping and Texturing Trumpet Flower

Wut. Time to ask the boyfriend what is going here... Even when rendered it shows like this. 

Update:

When I was UV mapping my foxglove flower I saved it as a PNG instead of TIFF and it worked. So later I'll try UV mapping this again as a PNG.
